BUDMA 2012

Another success for SOLBET at the BUDMA International Poznan Fair. In this year’s edition of the fairs, the SOLBET Perfect System was awarded the MTP BUDMA 2010 Gold Medal.
This was an appreciation for the systemic approach to construction and the advantages offered by the SOLBET Perfect system.

5th ICAAC...

Nearly 300 scientists, engineers and businessmen from 30 countries visited Bydgoszcz between 14 and 17 September to attend a conference on autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) and discuss key industry issues. It was the fifth conference in the series which began in 1960. The event itself, taking place on average once every 5 years, was initiated by EAACA (European Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Association), which includes trade associations from 18 countries, including the Polish SPB (Concrete Producers Association).

V International Conference on Autoclaved Aerated Concrete

Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) is one of the most common building materials in Poland, Europe and also in many countries around the world and is made either in the format of masonry units or reinforced elements for walls, floors and roofs. One of the main tasks of the European AAC Association (EAACA), established in 1988, is the promotion of autoclaved aerated concrete and the representation of the interests of its members, who are the producers of the material. At present, the biggest producer of AAC in Europe is Poland, which produces almost 1/3 of the whole of the EAACA production.
